Aiken to Sing

Cathy Benedetto has only been an acupuncturist since 1995. She has been a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and performer for over 30 years. Music has played a major healing role for her throughout life--especially when groups of singers share the experience with her. Cathy often "aches to sing," so she thought others might suffer from this same unsatisfied desire. With this in mind, she started "Aiken to Sing," where anyone who wishes to share their voice (or listen to others doing so) could have the opportunity to do so. A few guitars, rhythm instruments and a keyboard are available for accompaniment. A large selection of sheet music is also available for special requests.

Each month features a different theme. Some songs are popular and familiar, others are original and new. There are even occasional poems and stories thrown into the mix, making for a particularly enjoyable recipe. All voices, instruments, ages, genders and stories are welcome.
